Thank you for choosing Kids & Families Together for your Resource Family Approval training needs:

Next Steps:
You will be required to complete a 5 week Pre-Service Training course to learn about state and county regulations, requirements, and the challenges and benefits of becoming a Resource Family.

Our trauma-responsive training provides an opportunity for the resource family, Kids & Families Together, and Children and Family Services to assess together whether becoming a resource family is best for one’s family. The family may withdraw from training at any time. Both Community Homes (those who are opening their homes to non-relative children) and relative caregivers alike will train together in a safe, non-judgmental environment by a trained clinician. Please sign up for a Pre-Service training classes using the form below.  Classes are provided in both English and Spanish.
