Receive timely information relevant to foster care and network with foster & resource parents who are geographically related. February topic: Healthy Nutrition for Children: Getting our kids to eat healthy can be frustrating and challenging at times. Learn what types of food and how much food children really need. Gain tips on getting your child to eat well, including how to implement your child as the chef. Also, learn what types of things sabotage children from eating well and tips on overcoming those obstacles. Food samples will be provided! Our instructor Nora Hayes is an experienced health educator with over 20 years working in the medical field and with foster & kinship families.
Participants will receive a certificate for 2 hours of training upon completion of the class.
