Where: Lighthouse Church 3353 Old Conejo Road, Newbury Park
This class will create awareness and understanding of family violence and its impact on children. Participants will learn about the long-term consequences of family violence, the potential impacts of family violence on the child’s development (infancy through teen years), the lessons children learn in a domestic violence home, “red flags” and three sources of resiliency.
Participants will receive credit for 2 hours of training upon completion of the class. Meets Foster VC Kids criteria for “trauma.”
