Ventura County Children and Family Services has updated the existing Foster Family Home Placement Packet in order to reflect the agency’s current business practices and expectations for caregivers.

Part 2– Comfort Calls presented by Mirna Pina, LCSW, MSPH Community Services Coordinator
Comfort calls are phone calls between a caregiver and parent after removal or upon arrival of a child to a caregiver’s home to allow parents to share information directly with a caregiver about the day-to-day needs of the child and to support a positive co-parenting relationship. Participants will receive a certificate for 2 hours of training upon completion of the class.
