The quality of your relationship is primarily dependent upon your ability to communicate and the secret of communication is the art of understanding each other. We will look at what makes us feel loved, as well as past resentments and grudges, and mistaken beliefs. This workshop will give you some specific ways to increase your odds of understanding and being understood. Special emphasis will be placed on the role of parenting as a team while raising your foster/kinship children. In addition to being long-time Parenting Educators, Bill & Pam, married 35 years will also bring their experience of raising their 3 children by birth, but now also raising 3 of their granddaughters who they have adopted. Participants will receive credit for 2.5 hours of training upon completion of the class. Meets Foster VC Kids criteria for “teaming.”
